  I've had a good experience with Kaiser UNTIL the last two or so years! I have been a member of Kaiser since I was a little girl. First of all in 2008 I almost died because of a misdiagnosis. Now that I am paying for my own plan since January 2016 (not through employer) to change plans, it takes over an hour (on hold) and when I get to the "right" department I have to get transferred again! I have a two month old baby I need to take care of. I tried to change plans online for the next year but they are asking for payment, I just paid about $1,300! Are you serious?! They just hung up and still has not changed my plan from a platinum to a bronze plan. An hour and a half!!! Come on! This August I gave birth to my Daughter, my boyfriend and I told a nurse in Labor and Delivery to not check my cervix because my water broke, which she did anyway and I got an infection (a fever of 103 degrees) right before delivery! It took them over an hour to get blankets after saying "We'll be right back!". Not to mention I have a laundry list of Doctors because they keep changing!!! I want my primary Doctor! They are all over the place right now. I am really considering switching. So far Kaiser has been more of a headache then helpful!!! I am really disappointed.
